SNO Distinguished Lecture Series: Fall 2004

SNO, the Syracuse Neuroscience Organization is proud to announce the first event in our Distinguished Lecture Series. Dr. John Maunsell, of the Baylor College of Medicine and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute will give a public lecture entitled ``The Effect of Attention on Visual Representations in Cerebral Cortex'' Friday, October 1, 2004 at 1pm in the SU Gifford Auditorium in the H. B. Crouse Building. A Reception will follow in the Foyer of the Maxwell Building (across the street from the talk). Feel free to print and distribute this flyer. This map may help you find these locations.

To provide background for this visit we will have two "journal club" style meetings. These will be held in Room 104 of the Physics Building on the SU campus.

The inaugural event of the SNO Distinguished Lecture Series was attended by approximately 250 members of the Syracuse Area Neuroscience community, ranging in experience from undergraduates to Professors Emeriti.
